How to check a Lovable or vibe-coded website before launch

A practical website security workflow: review public exposure, access controls, headers and evidence without treating a scan as a full audit.

Start with permission and a defined scope

Use a site you own or have permission to test. Decide whether you want to inspect the public deployment, source code or a public repository: these answer different questions. For a Lovable, Bolt or Cursor project, the platform name alone does not establish which risks apply. Record the deployment and enabled integrations privately so you can reproduce findings.

Inspect the public deployment

Choose Website URL in Noxarix and review the permissions and data handling before submitting. Supported detectors inspect public exposure, secret patterns, access checks, response headers and infrastructure signals. Coverage depends on reachable pages and configured engines. A blocked request or unavailable engine should be treated as a missing check, not a clean result. Database probes and credential verification are opt-in where offered.

Read evidence before changing configuration

Start with the highest-impact finding that has useful evidence. Compare the observed response with the intended behaviour. A public backend project URL or public client key is not automatically a secret; ask whether permissions allow access to data beyond the intended user. Reproduce access-control issues with two accounts and synthetic records in your own test environment.

Use focused checks to understand a finding

Use the CSP evaluator to inspect a policy, the CORS tester to review cross-origin headers, and the TLS checker to inspect the certificate. These tools answer narrower questions. A good certificate grade cannot establish that login, payment or database authorisation is correct. Do not disable CSP or make records public just to remove a warning.

Fix, verify and record the gaps

Apply the smallest relevant fix, then repeat the affected check against the same deployment. Review the synthetic example report to understand evidence and incomplete coverage. Add manual tests for authenticated flows, business logic and role boundaries that a public scan cannot cover. Keep findings private; never paste real keys or customer records into public issue trackers.
